Every query I run in SSMS append the annoying message: "Completion time:...".

How can I disable that text?

  • What application is this in? SSMS? – SEarle1986 Aug 12 at 15:10

The completion time message was added in SSMS 18.2

I don't believe there is a way to turn it off

This appears to be correct, I couldn't find a relevant setting in Tools > Options. I was annoyed at first, but this feature is growing on me. Only issue I've had with it is scripts that dynamically create SQL code I need to copy and paste out and run; I now have to delete or avoid that last (new) line of output. – BradC Aug 12 at 15:56

I too have found it a little annoying for similar reasons, but I think the pro's outweigh the con's - perhaps we will get an option to disable in a future release – Kirky Aug 12 at 16:15
