I set up a new Database Server over a SQL Dump with innoDB MYSQL 5.7 from MYSQL 5.6. The Server running external with many sleeping SMTP connections over 1 Mio a day. I made the server open for connections, start a PHP script, it was running well but my Mailserver have problems with the new Database Server, got many erros and NO connection. I dont know why, ask in lot of boards, nothing helped. Use a Server at the same hosting company low latency, 1 Gbit
