I need help i am getting an error to the following query on azure sql.

SELECT illuminance as illuminance,
       temperature as temperature,
(select to_char(sysdate,'DD/MM/YYYY HH:MI:SS AM') from dual) AS Date
  INTO [PowerBIVisualizationOutput]
FROM [PowerBIVisualizationInput]
GROUP BY illuminance, temperature, TumblingWindow(minute,5)

Unrelated, but: (select to_char(sysdate,'DD/MM/YYYY HH:MI:SS AM') from dual) AS Date can be simplified to to_char(sysdate,'DD/MM/YYYY HH:MI:SS AM') AS Date – a_horse_with_no_name Oct 16 at 8:13
  • What do you expect the group by to do? That makes no sense to me. And what is the function TumblingWindow() doing? – a_horse_with_no_name Oct 16 at 8:14
  • TumblingWindow(minute, 5) each job should start with a minute to receive message. Must i have to remove this function? But if i dont group by both sensors, i wont be able to view these sensors on the power bi dataset dashboard. – Gcobani mkontwana Oct 16 at 8:19
  • Is this for SQL database or stream analysis? – Michael Green Oct 16 at 9:46
