i have a SQL server database which has normal data types..Not even blobs..

Now i want to convert it to MySQL database.

What would be the best way to do this? Any good open source?

  • Do it "by hands". Generate DDL scripts for SQL Server database as text file. Edit it, divide on 2 parts - clear structure, and indices/references/etc. Import 1st part into MySQL. Export data from SQL server tables to CSV file and load it into tables. Import 2nd DDL part. Yes, it is long way, but you may be sure that none strange problem occures. – Akina Mar 25 at 7:33
