End users are created all tables in PostgreSQL default database also in public schema. As per best practice, I want to move all tables from public schema of "postgres" database to user created database "userdb".

What will be the fastest/proper methods?

I have read below. but, i want to know is there another way to do?

How do I GRANT for all tables across all schemas

Why move? You can siply rename the database postgres to userdb and rename the public schema to something else. Then re-create postgres as an empty database – a_horse_with_no_name Jun 4 at 20:56
