I am trying to run mysqldumpslow on Windows server with the command

mysqldumpslow.pl -t 5 -s at H:\MySQL\slow.log > H:\MySQL\summaryslowlog.txt

I have installed ActivePerl on the server, but when I ran the above, I got the following error:

Can't determine basedir from 'my_print_defaults mysqld' output at C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.6\bin\mysqldumpslow.pl line.

I checked the my.ini file and the following was commented out:-

> [mysqld]
> # Path to installation directory. All paths are usually resolved relative to this.
> # basedir="C:/Program Files/MySQL/MySQL Server 5.6/"

Do I need to uncomment the line for it to work? The server is working fine, so what's the impact of this configuration?
