I am using Python with praw and pyside6 to build a desktop application that uses the reddit api to get posts. My main goal is to be able to favorite and bookmark the posts I want.

At first, I used a single table called posts with some of the details the reddit api provides like: title, author, url etc. and I added favorite and bookmark as integers 0 or 1.

But then I thought maybe I should create separate tables for favorites and bookmarks with one-to-one relationship to the posts table.

There are not multiple users, just the local one.

Are you treating favorites and bookmarks as two different objects?...as far as I understand those are synonyms that mean the same thing in this context?
