Need to convert live mongo db atlas replica set to sharded. But seems it will have downtime. Because its changing structure of cluster.
I tried with username/password and certificate based auth for connecting mongo from our spring boot applicaton. Both methods failing when cluster is changing from unshard to sharded cluster.
Its having mongo connections issues while conversion where we facing application downtime. So need any workaround/solution to perform sharded cnversion without any connection issue from spring boot application
