I need to make the existing non partitioning table as partitioning table and non partitioning table has many linked child tables

Question

The main table is linked with many child tables using foreign key. And need to add the list partition in the main table but i want all child table will also be linked with this partitioned table. There are many indexes already defined. How can i do that?

Will there be any impact on the indexes?
