I currently inherited an InnoDB table that describes a product. In the table there are a few columns that describe the maximum height at which the product may be mounted.
These are the columns:
HeightMaxExterior HeightMaxExteriorInsect HeightMaxInterior HeightMaxConcession HeightMaxPassThru
I was thinking perhaps of creating a new table:
MaxHeight that had the following columns:
ItemCode are pretty self explanatory.
Type would be an enum, of either 'max', or 'min', and
Context would be an enum for 'interior', 'exterior', 'concession', 'passthru', and 'insect'.
Should I create this new table? Or should I just leave it as it is?
