Is there any harm in storing other rows' int PKs in a hierarchyID instead of an arbitrary number?
I'm looking at common uses of hierarchyID, and most examples use some sort of arbitrary numbering for the HID nodes:
HID, Name
/, World
/1/, USA
/1/1/, Texas
/1/1/1/, Houston
/1/1/2/, San Antonio
/1/2/...
