* Current Job * Data & AI Consultant at Microsoft helping clients with all of their data projects. Primarily I architect new on-prem solutions. Primary focus is typically for on-prem solutions building out new environments prepping for migrations from 2008R2 servers to SQL 2016 or higher. Also helping to educate what Always-On Availability Groups can do for our customers. When I'm not doing that I'm helping to prepare customers for their journey to the cloud.

* Previous Job * Sr MS SQL DBA for a technology firm here in Reno Nevada (13 years and counting with this company) as my day job. I have 400+ SQL instances of which around 250 are production with 75% of my servers are multi-instance install / configurations.

In the evening I consult under Hyphen Studios, a design firm that my wife and I run, where we build custom web based applications using PHP / Coldfusion or Lucee with MySQL. Been doing this for almost 19 years now.
