I am an adjunct lecturer in Computer Science with a focus on teaching introductory and applied programming. Intermittently I also contribute to research within applied machine learning and statistics for natural language processing and computational linguistics.
Academically, I consider myself a Bayesian, but not a very dogmatic one, as well as a novice statistician and data scientist. My interests lie in Bayesian approaches to machine learning, and statistics in general, but I've also done work with neural networks and deep learning models. I am also very interested in cognitive science in general.
Philosophically, I also consider myself a rationalist, a two-level utilitarian, and an anti-dogmatic libertarian socialist.
