Stack Exchange network consists of 183 Q&A communities including Stack Overflow, the largest, most trusted online community for developers to learn, share their knowledge, and build their careers.
I take that there might not be such an impact on performance, but I feel much more comfortable using milliseconds. The solution you suggest works with seconds, not milliseconds, but I can live with that.
